What's a Fanlisting?

fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans. (info from TFL.org)

Emma of be-stereo.org absolutely made me so happy yesterday morning! I woke up to an email saying she chose me to adopt the Bones fanlisting and I was estatic. :D I had a hard time coming up with an image template I liked… I wanted to do the rotating images for sure, but all the templates I made looked really tacky and looked like they were made by someone who was 10 years old. :( Finally, this morning after getting some rest, I came up with what you see now! And I love it :D Chrisie is co-owning the fanlisting with me as well.

The lovely Carolynne of Just Like Magic was kind enough to adopt to me the fanlisting for band Simple Plan! They’ve been my all-time favorite band for, like, ever! :D I was completely obsessed with them back in high school and college, I was even lucky enough to see them in concert in the summer of 2005. Chuck, my favorite, and David met with a few fans after the show back by the parking lot and their bus, sadly we only could see them through a fence! :( I did get a picture with Chuck, like I said, through a fence, but it’s a picture none-the-less! :) I plan on adding info on the “about” page yet, and maybe some fanart, so if anyone out there has some, email it to me and I’ll post it with full credit :)

Hey all!

I’ve been working on re-working the look of the site a little bit. Obviously, there’s a new layout, featuring favorite characters from ABC’s new show Once Upon a Time. I’ve also been moving things around a bit and *hopefully* making things look a bit nicer and cleaner. One thing I changed is on this main page, to show ALL updates, including updates for fanlistings :) Hope it’s all looking good on your end! :D

I just got approved for Juliet’s fanlisting a few days ago, but wanted to get it up ASAP because, well, just because! That’s the way I am it seems :) The fanlisting is up, open for members to join.

I would like to point out, very soon I will be adding more codes and probably a new layout. I had planned on making 10 codes of each size to start off with, but my program decided to freeze on me after 7, so I just gave up yesterday. Maybe I’ll get to them sooner than later, but I definitely do want to make more :D

I had already started working on the fanlisting before I was officially approved at TFL because I wasn’t sure when the applications would be processed and we are moving soon so I wanted it ready just in case. Well, I got the approval email this morning and now the fanlisting is up and ready for members to join! :)
